Multivariate P-adic L-function

In the recent, many mathematicians studied the multiple zeta function in the complex number field. In this paper we construct the p-adic analogue of multiple zeta function which interpolates the generalized multiple Bernoulli numbers attached to χ at negative integers. §1. Introduction Let p be a fixed prime. Throughout this paper Z p , Q p , C and C p will, respectively, denote the ring of p-a...

On p-adic multiple zeta and log gamma functions

We define p-adic multiple zeta and log gamma functions using multiple Volkenborn integrals, and develop some of their properties. Although our functions are close analogues of classical Barnes multiple zeta and log gamma functions and have many properties similar to them, we find that our p-adic analogues also satisfy reflection functional equations which have no analogues to the complex case. ...

A NOTE ON THE q-ANALOGUE OF p-ADIC log-GAMMA FUNCTION

Let p be a fixed odd prime number. Throughout this paper Z, Q, Zp, Qp and Cp will respectively denote the ring of rational integers, the field of rational numbers, the ring p-adic rational integers, the field of p-adic rational numbers and the completion of the algebraic closure of Qp. Let vp be the normalized exponential valuation of Cp such that |p|p = p−vp(p) = p−1. If q ∈ Cp, we normally as...

p-adic Shearlets

The field $Q_{p}$ of $p$-adic numbers is defined as the completion of the field of the rational numbers $Q$ with respect to the  $p$-adic norm $|.|_{p}$. In this paper, we study the continuous and discrete $p-$adic shearlet systems on $L^{2}(Q_{p}^{2})$. We also suggest discrete $p-$adic shearlet frames. Several examples are provided.

TOPICS IN p-ADIC FUNCTION THEORY

The function ez shows that a complex entire function can indeed omit one value. Lately, it has become fashionable to prove p -adic versions of value distribution theorems, of which Picard’s Theorem is an example, though not a recent one. More recent examples can be found in the works listed in the references section. Recall that the p -adic absolute value | |p on the rational number field Q is ...
